Thank you for your prayerful consideration of supporting the ministry of timetodiscipleamerica.com. Your donation will be used to disciple people in the United States of America and around the world. Most people in the United States have already heard about Jesus Christ, while the majority of people on Earth, who have never heard about Jesus, live outside the United States. There are still roughly 2 billion people on Earth who have never heard Jesus’ name, and they are the hardest people to reach, which is why they are yet to be reached. There are a number of reasons for this.
One reason is that most have a religious system that is highly resistant to the Gospel and works very, very hard to keep the truth about eternal life through Jesus Christ out of reach for their people. Another reason is that there are some governments that are hostile to Jesus and to the Gospel and therefore don’t allow the Gospel to be preached into their countries–or at least they do as much as they can to prevent it.
Another barrier is geography. Many of the unreached people of the earth who’ve never heard Jesus’ name live in areas that are difficult to get to. I have personally gone to these areas and villages on multiple occasions. Just from walking through the mountains and jungles with all the thorns and rocks, I remember my clothes were torn, and I had blood coming through my skin on multiple locations, just after trekking to an unreached village of people who’d never heard the name of Jesus. Reaching the unreached around the world is where a large part of the contributions made to this site will go.
People who are looking for God often utilize their resources in that pursuit. I expect that the needs in the United States, in regard to New Testament discipleship, will be more in the area of education and knowledge application. Someone once said, “With great knowledge comes great responsibility.” So once people know what they are supposed to become in Christ and what they are supposed to be doing in Christ, to remain as they were is to operate in and live a life of disobedience. It is my belief that the reason God blessed this nation was so that we could be a blessing to all the nations of the world. He did not bless us for us. He did not bless us because we are better than other people. God blessed us so that we could be used by God to impact the world for Him. The United States may not have the human resources necessary to finish the Great Commission, but we most certainly have the financial resources. The rest of the world has the human resources.
For example, as I type this, I have 10,000 disciple makers in India waiting to be trained and then sent and deployed to the unreached villages across India to finish the Great Commission in that nation. We simply need a few dollars to gather them and buy some tea and biscuits for their lunch. Then we need a few more dollars to send them, pay for the gas, and for some bibles to get them to the unreached places. As we send out these disciple makers, there is a rising need for funding to pay for translations of the book titled The End Game of God. We print these books to give to these disciple makers, who will be going to the most unreached people on Earth, as a type of training manual to remind them of the Disciple Making Movement training that they received–to remind them of Jesus’ training to disciple the nations. And as we strive to put disciple making into practice in America, we encourage the people of the United States to allocate their resources of time, money, and prayer toward this effort to finish the Great Commission.
